The wesbite is a great idea, but I would like to see it updated more! I am constantly looking for info on how guys are approaching online poker as a carrer. How does the Midwest Connect Poker Crew approach poker as a carrer. StraightNutz 11-06-2009 A: Ty royalStud! I am glad you are reading my blogs and I am constantly looking for new ideas to write about. Please feel free to email us about blog topic ideas! The website gets updated every Friday throughout the entire year. I can only update it once a week because with my online schedule, I only take Thursday and Friday off. It feels great to have a sick run like I did in October. It was my best month yet as a professional online poker player. I did not change any aspect in my game, it just seemed like every play was working! I ran especially well and it felt like I could not lose a flip. By the end of October, no matter how good or bad I got it in, I was gonna win the pot. My roommates, hebs and bigtone52, were calling me God for two weeks straight LOL. Poker is a streaky game and it is crucial to stick to your guns even when your running like death. I made sure to keep my hand history's in that hot streak to upload into the analyzer for when I am running bad in the future. As of how I approach poker as a carrer, I am just treating it like a job right now. I am still learning my schedule and have not found a perfect one yet that incorporates work, working out, hanging out with friends, etc... I believe that this could turn into a carrer, but as of right now I am taking it one step at a time. The crew does plan on playing long term and eventually getting into the live arena as well. Once I start sticking to a schedule for more than one week, maybe I will start to think long term and online poker as a carrer. After that, then I could probably give you a more solid answer LOL! GL at the tables and thank you for question royalStud.
